ILS talk Philipp Dankel

From the June 4th to 5th, the team of the Chair of Language Use and Multimodal Communication welcomed Dr. Philipp Dankel from the University of Basel (Switzerland) as a guest speaker in the context of the International Lecture Series of the Viadrina Center for Gesture and Multimodality Studies (VCGMS). On June 4th, he gave a lecture on the topic of Gesture and Speech in Lists and Animated Discourse. During his stay, the scientific exchange included topics such as multimodal transcription conventions and technical possibilities for motion tracking of mediatized hand gestures. It was a great pleasure for us to welcome Dr. Philipp Dankel here at the Viadrina!
