Elke Long

Since October 2016, Elke Lange has been supporting the work of the Axel Springer Chair of German-Jewish Literary and Cultural History, Exile and Migration and its staff in all technical and organizational matters. She is there for students' questions, takes care of appointments with the chair holder, the chair's international guests, its numerous events and much more.

Mrs. Lange has been working at the European University Viadrina since 1996, until 2008 as secretary to Prof. Dr. Pollack (Professor of Comparative Cultural Sociology) and from 2008 to 2016 as secretary to Prof. Dr. Dr. Knefelkamp (Professor of Medieval History and Regional Cultural History).
