Dominik Paul-Diehl has been an academic assistant at the European University Viadrina since October 2022. He previously worked as a research assistant at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen, where he also completed his M.A. in Sociology. Since his bachelor's degree, his research interest has been dedicated to the topic of sustainability and its social negotiation processes. The focus is on sustainability in the economy, which is associated with terms such as CSR, ESG and green capitalism. The theoretical starting points are sociological field theories, neo-institutionalism and the ideas of the sociology of value and valuation studies.
This is also reflected in his doctoral project, which deals with the field structures of sustainability assessments and ratings of a large financial market.
